About Us
The Humanist Fellowship of San Diego (HFSD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization. Our mission is to advance public awareness of Humanism and its principles of social progress through dialogue, acts of compassion, the pursuit of justice, and the promotion of critical thinking. Secular humanism embraces human reason, ethics, justice, and philosophical naturalism while specifically rejecting religious dogma, supernaturalism, pseudoscience, and superstition as the bases of morality and decision making. We unite secular humanists, ethical atheists, and skeptics in San Diego County of California, in the United States of America. We conduct public forums and organize lectures and discussion groups.

We seek to create a brighter future
for all human beings
Tribalism is as old as homo-sapiens. We seek to break that cycle and unite people under a real tangible purpose, a human purpose.
